“Share the Vision, in partnership with the Ulverscroft Foundation, The Reading Agency, and Libraries Connected, have developed a FREE Reading Sight resource pack aimed at supporting people working in libraries to better support people with vision and print impairments.
Hard copy packs have been sent to each library service in the UK and digital versions of all the embedded resources are yours to freely download from this page. Plus, there is additional content – a Powerpoint presentation to use on digital displays, and digital assets for use on social media and for web publication.
Accessible copies of the pack (in Braille and audio) can be ordered via [email protected] and these are being processed by RNIB. All the accessible digital files are embedded below; and Welsh language (Cymraeg) editions of the pack have also been produced.
The pack includes:
- An overarching 20 page guide
- Posters
- Postcards
- A Reading Friends toolkit, co-produced with The Reading Agency
Alongside the other guidance and information available on this website, we hope this resource pack will be of assistance to those working in libraries, and benefit those with a vision or print impairment who love reading and libraries.”
The packs are available to download from the Reading Sight webpage.
