This new guidance: “[…] has been developed by the University of Leicester’s Research Centre for Museums and Galleries (RCMG) with legal scholars and trans inclusion and equality experts in the context of growing uncertainty and anxiety surrounding trans-inclusive practice across heritage, arts and cultural organisations of all kinds.”
This is a very important set of guidelines which are immensely practical and timely. It is particularly useful to have the re-emphasising of the need for museums (and other organisations) to continue to make provision for the whole community, including people who identify as LGBTQ+.
