"A project to improve the employment opportunities and life skills of long term unemployed and people with disabilities in Plymouth has won the University of St Mark and St John the prestigious national Archive Volunteering Award of 2014."
Includes a description of the ‘Connected Catalogue’ project (which had no funding), via which volunteers worked within the archive to help catalogue, improve access to the collections and put on displays and exhibitions. Eighteen volunteers joined in the project, including some with mental health issues seeking employment and three of the university’s students."
